Intramuscular injections, with an assessment first.

Given in Surrey by a registered nurse with fourteen years of hospital experience. Nothing is given without an assessment of whether it is appropriate for you, and Danielle explains what is involved before anything goes ahead.

In principle

An injection is a clinical act. It is treated as one.

Intramuscular injections are part of The Nurse Suite's developing offer. What matters is how they are given: by a registered nurse with fourteen years of hospital experience, after an assessment of whether the injection is appropriate for you, with a clear explanation of what it is and what to expect.

The range of injections available is confirmed when you enquire, so that you are only ever told about what Danielle can actually offer and what is appropriate for you. If something is not, she will say so and, where she can, point you in the right direction.

Ask about a specific injection

If you have been recommended, or are interested in, a particular intramuscular injection, say so when you enquire.

Consultation and suitability

Assessed first, explained fully, given properly.

Before any injection, Danielle assesses whether it is appropriate for you and talks you through what it involves. You will not be given something because you asked for it. You will be given it because it is right for you, and you will understand why.
